This year marks 20 years of care, community, and dentistry at Bay Dental Surgery!

What began as one dentist with a dream has grown into a family-run practice built on trust, genuine care, and a passion for helping people smile with confidence.

To our patients, community, and team - thank you for being part of the journey. We’re incredibly grateful for the support over the past two decades and look forward to many more years to come.

Dr Vas opened the doors to the practice with a simple vision - to create something meaningful from the ground up and provide exceptional care to the community he already considered home. Having spent his childhood summers in Port Stephens, there was never really anywhere else he imagined building his future. And amazingly, his very first patient is still part of the practice today.

While building the practice over the last two decades, Dr Vas was also building his family. Raising his children with a similar childhood to his own, filled with long summers spent enjoying the bay and everything this special place has to offer. Dr Vas’ passion for dentistry has never stood still. Through continued education, further university study, and investing in modern technology, the focus has always remained the same: providing thoughtful, high-quality care for every patient who walks through our doors.
